One of the most amazing experiences!

Most of you facebooker/ twitterers will know that.. I did it... and I GOT A MEDAL!!!

My cheeks (face ones) are aching from the permanent grin. I had the most brilliant time with the best bunch of support crew a girl could ask for!

Clearly I shall be writing an EPIC race report - no doubt in a couple of parts... for now though I need to get ready for WORK (WTF - bad planning or what!)....

So I'm home, I can walk with no problem (although am finding the blister under my big toe which keeps bursting somewhat gross). I am still a little tired (like I feel like I could power nap all the time) but do have very excitable moments (especially after half a family bag of peanut M&Ms it seems).... I'm generally eating and drinking everything in sight - although when I did this Tuesday night when the only drinking thing in site was booze is perhaps a questionable recovery strategy (MWAHHHH!)

I am hugely excited about what went down on Sunday and actually can't quite get my head around it!

I'll say this though more then once over the coming weeks - thanks to all you guys... both near and far... in person and in the virtual world.... I could not have done this without your support, encouragement, patience and stamina :)

Time to go and grin :)
